Role: A Level Film Studies Lecturer
Location: Lancashire
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Rate: £225 - £250 per day
Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic A Level Film Studies Lecturer for a Further Education College in Lancashire.
This is a full time temporary role to start asap until the end of the Academic Year. Hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across A Level Film Studies
* Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
* Support student progress and achievement through high-quality teaching and feedback
* Contribute to the wider success of the department
* Deliver a small proportion of teaching within Vocational Media Studies
Requirements
* A degree in Film, Media or a closely related subject
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is desirable
* Proven experience teaching A Level Film Studies
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for film and media
* Experience within Further Education or secondary education settings is advantageous

* A strong Film Studies specialist with a genuine enthusiasm for the subject
* Able to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
* Professional, reliable and adaptable
* Comfortable delivering both academic and vocational content where required
