We are looking for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Health care support worker (HCSW) to join our dynamic team. This post provides the opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic individual to join us and work within our Community Adult Assessment and Rehabilitation Service (CAARS) to provide meaningful assessment and rehabilitation for adults to live well and maximise independence within their community.
Occupational Therapist HCSW
Band 4 - Permanent
37 hours per week - Aberdeen City H&SCP
We are looking for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Health care support worker (HCSW) to join our dynamic team. This post provides the opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic individual to join us and work within our Community Adult Assessment and Rehabilitation Service (CAARS) to provide meaningful assessment and rehabilitation for adults to live well and maximise independence within their community.
The post will involve working closely with Occupational Therapists and the wider multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions. This may take place in a variety of settings including patients own homes, their community, and with their transition from hospital to home.
This post will also require the candidate to work within the wider service depending on service need, including inpatient settings. With this being a community post, access to a car is essential.
Opportunities for continuous personal development (CPD) are encouraged with regular supervision and in-service training programmes.
The successful candidate must hold a valid, clean UK Driving Licence and own/have access to a car.
