Job Description:
James Ray Recruitment is seeking an outstanding Teacher of English to join a high-performing school in Hull. The ideal candidate will be a qualified graduate enthusiastic about teaching English in a well-equipped department.
The successful candidate will be able to teach English at KS3, GCSE (AQA), and A Level (EdExcel). They will join a dynamic department that is well-resourced with books, teaching materials, and ICT equipment. The school and senior management team strongly support English and recognize its importance in the school's intellectual life.
This position is ongoing, covering 5 days per week starting April 2025. Applicants should hold QTS and have experience teaching English up to KS4 & KS5. Good behaviour management skills are essential. The salary ranges from MPS1 to MPS6 (£25,174 to £36,961), depending on experience.
