Job summary Medical Education Coordinator Department: Medical Education Band 4 Hours: 37.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working An exciting opportunity is available to join the Medical Education team coordinating activity for postgraduate doctors at MKUH. The position is fulltime Monday to Friday with no weekend working. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has excellent interpersonal skills as well as first class IT knowledge. You will be the first point of contact so communication is the key to success in this post. The post involves administration duties, minute taking at meetings, creating teaching programmes, face to face networking at educational events, as well as conference co-ordinating. Previous NHS experience is a must, training will be given for the role, and development opportunities are available. Being able to undertake manual tasks, as some aspects of role can be physically demanding is a must. SAS Grade Doctors To work with DME and Head of Medical Education to organise and advertise relevant teaching sessions for SAS grades within the Trust Process CME (Study leave) applications and claims using the study leave database Doctors Induction To support the DME and Head of Medical Education in producing a suitable induction programme to comply with the GMC standards of tomorrows doctor. This includes organising pre induction meetings, arranging speakers, catering, dealing with room bookings.
