EYFS / Year 1 Teaching Assistant
Rural Lancaster
9:00am - 3:30pm
Monday to Friday, Summer Term (April to July)Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity**
We are recruiting an experienced EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive early years team in a small, rural school close to Lancaster.
This position also has potential to continue into the next academic year (temp-to-perm).
About the Role
* Supporting teaching and learning in EYFS/Year 1
* Helping deliver early phonics, play-based learning, routines and transitions
* Working in-class and delivering small group support
* Hours: 9:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
* Start: Summer term
* Temp-to-perm continuation possible into 2026/27
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience in EYFS and/or KS1
* Minimum TA2 qualification or above
* A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to early learning
* Team player with good communication skills
* Understanding of early childhood development
