About the Role

· Ready to hit the ground running in the daily management of the setting, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are met and exceeded.
· Have a love for working with children – the welfare of our children is our top priority, and you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
· Uncompromising on quality – you will oversee the weekly schedules to meet the individual needs of the children and ensure that children are kept active and engaged in developmental activities.
· Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with parents – as the key point of contact you will have regular communication with the parents, so high emotional intelligence and effective interpersonal skills are a must in creating a trusting rapport with the families.
· A natural born leader – you are full of charisma and have an infectious, positive, can-do attitude that motivates and inspires others around you.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following…
Skills and Knowledge:
· Practical knowledge of EYFS Standards, Ofsted Standards and Inspections
· Understanding of Equal Opportunities/SENCO
· Strong Management and Leadership skills to lead a team of 15+ staff.
Experience:
· At least 5 years of professional experience in working and caring for children under 5 within a nursery environment (Essential)
· Experience as a Nursery Manager of day to day management, meeting occupancy targets and budgetary oversight (Essential)
Qualifications:
· NVQ Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent
