We’re working with a brilliant SEN school in Bromley that’s looking for a compassionate, calm, and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism. This is a long-term role with real impact and the chance to become a trusted, steady presence in the pupil’s learning journey.
Your Day-to-Day:
1. Working 1:1 with a pupil with autism, supporting them throughout the school day
2. Creating a safe, predictable, and positive learning environment
3. Teaming up with the SENCO and therapists to keep things on track
4. Using sensory strategies to help the pupil access their learning
What We’re Looking For:
5. Someone who’s patient, positive, and genuinely passionate about supporting SEN pupils
6. Experience working with children or adults with SEND (bonus if you’ve worked 1:1)
7. Great communication skills and a calm, reassuring presence
