The Conveyancing Team
Swiitch, within Shoosmiths, offers a highly professional conveyancing service designed to make buying or selling property as efficient and stress-free as possible. Swiitch remains the largest firm of conveyancing solicitors accredited under the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme. Our service maintains high standards and is consistently recognized in national consumer service awards.
The Role
The successful candidate will be an expert in the technical elements necessary to provide a quality and comprehensive conveyancing service with a customer service focus, working in accordance with Shoosmiths' values and behaviors.
Main Responsibilities
1. Undertake all key functions within a conveyancing transaction confidently and competently.
2. Handle Freehold, Leasehold, Unregistered, New Build, and Shared Ownership sale and purchase transactions with minimal supervision.
3. Supervise paralegals to ensure efficient transaction processes.
4. Manage and develop relationships with all work providers.
5. Deliver high standards of customer care to clients and work providers.
Depending on experience, there may be opportunities to manage a team of 2-3 paralegals, oversee their caseloads, and manage referrals from key clients, including attending regional meetings to foster co-working relationships. You will need to maintain strong relations with work providers and ensure your team is aligned with forecasts and targets.
You will be required to attend the office regularly during your probation period for training and supervision. There will be an opportunity for agile working upon successful completion of probation.
