The Opportunity – Maintenance Engineer
Join one of JCB’s newest facilities as an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience working with HV and the ability to read electrical diagrams to aid fault finding in a manufacturing environment. You will keep our machinery running day and night in a role that’s every bit as important to our organisation.
Salary: £53,000-£60,000 OTE (inclusive of typical overtime and shift premiums)
Contract Type: Full Time
Working Pattern: Permanent
What does this role involve day to day?
* Work varied shift patterns, troubleshooting, solving problems and driving improvement in live environments across machine tools, conveyors, welding robots, etc.
* Learn to fix highly specialised machinery, essential to the team and to keep the operation running smoothly.
This will be suited to you if…
* Experience in a live maintenance environment.
* Completed an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, qualified at HNC level or have equivalent experience.
* Good understanding of fundamentals such as reactive and proactive maintenance and work schedules; training will cover the specifics of our machinery.
