SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Chorley or South Ribble

Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Veritas Education is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant at an Outstanding SEN School specializing in ASD. We are interested in candidates with an interest or experience in working with SEN students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students' holistic development.
* Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to staff.
* Manage behaviour confidently using de-escalation strategies.
* Support students' learning with good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
* Maintain an optimistic outlook and determination to make a difference in children's education.
Application Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), in line with safeguarding policies.
* CV covering the last 10 years of employment, explaining any employment gaps.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to attend a registration interview.
