Hays are pleased to be working with a local CA Firm in Edinburgh to support in the continued development of their services to a niche industry that is prevalent within Scotland. Due to the development of this team, the requirement for an Assistant Manager within the Business Services function has be available.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be a key member of the wider team to plan and manage a portfolio of client work that will include year end and management accounts; VAT returns; forecasting as well as fee/debt management preparation. You will befortable developing existing and new relationships with clients and positively supporting in the timely management of each portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will ideally be ICAS/ACCA qualified, or with similar levels of experience. You will be required to have a good working knowledge of clients accounting systems such as Sage and Xero as well as extensive experience in dealing with corporate and unincorporated accounts. You will be looking to take your next step within Business Advisory and demonstrate strongmunication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
