Join our Technical Governance team and take a leading role in improving the quality and technical standard of liability claims handling across our TPA business. This role is focused on helping the technical development of the team. You will review claims, identify where technical knowledge can be strengthened, and support teams through clear feedback, coaching and practical training. What you’ll do Take the lead on claim file audits and quality reviews across the liability team, including both file and call reviews. Review claims to make sure decisions are correct, fair and consistent, and that agreed standards are being met. Spot common issues, trends or knowledge gaps and explain them clearly so teams can learn from them. Work with colleagues across the wider technical community to help design training plans and learning materials. Deliver training and technical guidance to claims handlers, both online and face to face. Act as a technical point of contact, offering advice, coaching and support on more complex liability issues. Oversee quality reviews for a number of high‑profile clients, including claims involving disputes, litigation and higher‑value or more complex losses. Manage a small number of claims yourself for a key client, so you stay close to day‑to‑day claims handling and decision‑making. The Skills You Wil Have When You Apply: Strong, hands‑on experience handling liability claims, including Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Products Liability. Experience managing personal injury and property damage claims from start to finish. A solid understanding of legal liability, policy cover, and sound decision‑making in day‑to‑day claims handling. Experience working in a TPA, insurer, loss adjuster, or claims handling environment, ideally with exposure to audits or quality reviews. The ability to review work carefully, identify issues, and give clear, practical feedback to support improvement. Confidence working with claims teams, clients, and colleagues, using clear and straightforward communication.
