I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a unique business based in Alton. This is a varied role working in a friendly, tight-knit team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Producing profit and loss accounts
2. Managing accruals and repayments
3. Assisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control, etc.)
4. Budgeting and forecasting
5. Preparing internal and external reports
6. Reconciling bank balances
7. Preparing monthly Management Accounts
8. Assisting with cash flow forecasting
9. Reconciling supplier statements and payments
10. Helping to prepare tax returns
11. Assisting with treasury activities
Requirements for success:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role
* Team player
