SEO Manager — York
Our client are a global B2B organistion who looking for a strategic and hands-on SEO Manager to lead their organic search efforts and drive measurable growth in lead generation. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the SEO roadmap, collaborate across teams, and use cutting-edge tools to elevate our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on increasing qualified leads.
* Align SEO goals with broader marketing and business objectives.
* Content Creation & Optimization
* Lead the creation of high-performing, search-optimized content in collaboration with writers and designers.
* Ensure all content supports E-E-A-T principles and is optimised for both search engines and user experience.
* Technical SEO
* Conduct regular audits using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs.
* Identify and resolve crawlability, indexation, and performance issues.
* Keyword & Competitor Research
* Perform deep keyword analysis and competitor benchmarking to uncover growth opportunities.
* Use insights to inform content strategy and site architecture.
* On-Page & Off-Page SEO
* Optimize metadata, internal linking, and page structure.
* Lead link-building initiatives and digital PR efforts to improve domain authority.
* Reporting & Analysis
* Track and report on SEO performance, lead generation metrics, and ROI.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Stay ahead of algorithm updates, emerging SEO technologies, and industry best practices.
* Test and implement new tools and techniques to maintain competitive advantage.
What You'll bring
* Proven experience in a senior SEO role with demonstrable success in lead generation.
* Strong knowledge of SEO tools including Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, and Google Search Console.
* Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) and basic HTML/CSS.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
This role has a global remit and is based in York with hybrid working and the requirement to be in the office 2 or 3 days a week.
