Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality PQQs and tender responses, bid specific case studies and evidence through answer planning, writing, and editing.
* Supporting win strategy/win theme sessions, storyboarding, and writing workshops as required.
* Delivering question analysis and response plans, considering scoring criteria and client preferences.
* Working with subject matter experts to develop drafts into customer-focused responses that are well-structured, clear and easy to understand, aligned with customer terminology and consistent with company brand.
* Facilitating review meetings, whilst considering review comments to enhance quality bid content.
* Ensuring completion of narrative meets internal / external deadlines at every stage of bid process.
* Conducting research, interviewing technical, operational, and business function experts, gathering information from a wide range of sources and stakeholders.
* Sharing knowledge and best practice across the business, contributing to post-tender reviews and lessons learnt to enable continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Bid experience from large construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects; rail, road, energy, tunnelling, utilities
* Bid writing experience, including experience from public sector bids, delivering high-quality narrative to deadlines
* Proven ability to absorb, analyse and structure complex information, identify & articulate win strategies
* Good research skills – ability to summarise key messages
* Office 365 proficiency, particularly MS Word and PowerPoint
* Good organisational / time management skills
* Excellent written English, proofreading skills, with attention to detail
* Ideally degree level educated or equivalent
