The Opportunity
We’re growing—and we’re looking for a passionate, qualified Early Years Assessor to join our Learning & Development team.
This is a dual role combining remote delivery and workplace visits, supporting adult learners to achieve Early Years Apprenticeships at Levels 2, 3, and 5.
You’ll work closely with learners and employers to drive progress, raise standards, and make a real impact in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support a caseload of learners in the workplace
* Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment (including functional skills)
* Provide IAG and conduct initial assessments
* Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement
* Record Off-the-Job training and maintain ESFA compliance via ePortfolio systems
* Conduct regular workplace visits
* Coach and mentor learners with varying needs and barriers
* Promote ELA’s programmes to employers and learners
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above)
* Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1 or equivalent)
* Experience delivering apprenticeships or vocational training
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths, English & ICT (Level 2 minimum)
* Industry experience within Early Years
* Strong IT skills (e.g. OneFile, Smart Assessor, MS Office)
* Full UK working rights and willingness to travel
Desirable:
* Teaching qualification (AET / PTLLS)
* Experience with End Point Assessment (EPA)

Salary £28-£32,000 p.a
