The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional sales position as you'll take ownership of the full new business journey, managing opportunities from initial engagement through to signed agreement and successful onboarding.
Working with a combination of warm leads and self-generated opportunities, you'll engage with business owners and senior decision-makers, understand their objectives and recommend tailored solutions designed to support their growth.
Alongside converting existing opportunities, you'll also play an important role in identifying new routes to market, developing lead generation strategies and influencing future commercial activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities.
* Manage and nurture prospects through the sales pipeline.
* Convert inbound and event-generated leads.
* Develop new lead generation initiatives and prospecting strategies.
* Build strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
* Present tailored commercial solutions.
* Maintain accurate CRM and forecasting activity.
* Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry functions.
* Collaborate with internal marketing and operational teams to maximise opportunities.
About You
We're interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
* Proven success within new business development, sales or commercial growth roles.
* Strong consultative selling ability.
* Experience managing longer sales cycles and stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A proactive, self-starting approach.
* Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking.
* The ability to work independently within a remote environment.
Experience within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, professional services, training, consultancy or other relationship-led B2B sectors would be advantageous, although applications from other backgrounds are welcomed.
