BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT COORDINATOR 37 hours per week 44.6 paid weeks per year 39 working weeks per year Grade G- Actual Salary £21883- £26,105 Permanent We are seeking a calm, resilient, and highly organised individual to join our team as Behaviour Support Coordinator. This is a key role within our school, supporting the highest standards of behaviour and ensuring a consistent, fair approach to sanctions and student support. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our Reflection Room (internal suspension) and detention systems, creating a structured and purposeful environment where students can reflect on their behaviour and re-engage positively with learning. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the Reflection Room, maintaining a calm and focused environment • Overseeing the school’s detention system, ensuring consistency and follow-up • Communicating with parents/carers regarding behaviour and sanctions • Liaising with teaching staff and pastoral leaders on student behaviour • Accurately recording and monitoring behaviour data using school systems We are looking for someone who: • Has excellent communication and IT skills • Can remain calm, firm, and consistent under pressure • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence • Holds high expectations and applies them consistently • Works effectively as part of a team Experience in a secondary school or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
