About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive New Business Coordinator to support our Business Development Team at WW Martin. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our new business strategy, helping to identify future work, strengthen relationships, and raise our profile across Kent.

What you will be doing – key tasks and responsibilities
Based at our office in Ramsgate, you will report to the Business Development Manager / Senior Management Team, and play a vital role in supporting our new business activity, including:
* Researching and identifying new business leads and opportunities across Kent
* Monitoring planning applications, development updates, and tender portals to feed into our project pipeline
* Supporting relationship management with existing clients, consultants, architects, and local authorities
* Actively seeking out and connecting with new business contacts and decision-makers
* Assisting in the organisation and delivery of events and networking opportunities
* Representing the business at relevant industry events and forums
* Supporting the preparation of reports and updates for senior management
Skills we are looking for
Essential:
* A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Comfortable engaging with a wide range of people
* Positive, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying opportunities
Desirable:
* A relevant degree (e.g. in business, marketing, or a related discipline)
* Previous experience in a coordination, client-facing, or research-based role
* Familiarity with planning applications, and or planning portals
* Understanding of the local construction marketplace in Kent
