Key Responsibilities
* Assist elderly clients with daily personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, and dressing
* Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence
* Monitor and document changes in clients' health and report any concerns to the care team
* Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive living environment
* Ensure cleanliness and safety in the living spaces of clients
* Collaborate with nursing staff and other caregivers to implement individualized care plans
* Engage in ongoing training to develop and enhance your caregiving skills
Requirements
* Prior experience as an elderly care assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong empathy and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping elderly individuals.
* Ability to effectively work within a team while also showing initiative.
* Willingness to relocate to Ireland and experience a new culture.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in elderly care or healthcare are advantageous.
* Basic computer skills for documentation and maintaining accurate records.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
