The Post in Context
The key purpose of this post is to ensure that our employees endeavour to provide a smooth and fun play scheme experience, maintaining and upholding the ‘Wave’ standards set for all children and parents, who should leave with a high level of satisfaction from our service.
Our employees work as a team, following the expectations set by external bodies (Ofsted), the DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead), and management to ensure effective customer service, enthusiasm, and pride in our work.
We operate in a fun and safe environment, with awareness and good observation skills when dealing with safeguarding children and vulnerable youths/adults.
We adhere to rules and regulations set by ‘Wave Active’ and external governing bodies to promote high standards of conduct and work practices, enhancing our reputation and achieving our goals.
As a ‘Wave Active’ employee, you will offer high levels of customer satisfaction through our play schemes, duties, and overall experience.

* Industry certificates in customer service, sport, or leisure
* Childcare qualifications (e.g., accredited or equivalent)
* Current DBS (we will conduct our own)
Qualifications (Essential)
* Level 3 Child Care/Play Work/Sport Coaching
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations
* Coaching qualification
* First Aid Certificate
* Ability to organise leisure, creative, or sport sessions in at least one activity such as art, crafts, Lego, sports, or children's party games
Other (Essential)
* Flexibility to adapt to changing business demands
* Ability to follow Wave Active Policies and Procedures
