Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker. Duties Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling at all times. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively. Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, storing, and retrieving items as needed. Engage in shipping and receiving activities, preparing items for dispatch and verifying incoming shipments. Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch. Participate in picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for delivery. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate forklifts safely when required, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines. Skills Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to handle bulky items safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking. Strong skills in materials handling practices to ensure safe movement of goods. Experience in shipping and receiving processes is an advantage. Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to undergo training if necessary.
