The ClientDatacenter People is partnering with a data centre power infrastructure provider that specialises in commissioning solutions delivered through equipment rental services.What The Job InvolvesCommercial role responsible for generating profitable business for the company focusing on the UK market:Customer relations, from prospecting for new customers and markets to recording purchase ordersDevelop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and consolidate its presenceEstablish productive and professional relationships with key personnel on assigned customer accountsPreparation, submission and negotiation of tenders and quotationsFollow-up of calls for tender and quotations and securing of contractsManage the sales process from plan to closeEnsure that customers are kept informed of the status of current contracts and that problems are resolved as quickly as possibleProduct applications and sales developmentPropose and participate in marketing actions such as exhibitionsProject management in collaboration with the Contract and Logistics teamsRegular site and customer visits (80%)Regular reporting to the Sales Director and participation in sales meetingsOccasional participation in site work to support the installation teamTargets will be based on the company’s budgeted order intake and on performance criteriaYou will report to the Head of Sales based in the London officeWe Are Looking For Someone WithTechnically competent with knowledge that gives you a good understanding of M&E systemsExperience in a data center environment would be highly appreciatedWith prior experience in service sales, rental sales or similarAt ease with commercial negotiationsStrong oral and written communication skillsMotivated and organized, able to prioritize your workload and agendaWe regret that due to the high volume of applications we are unable to acknowledge each one.
