We are looking for a Resourcing Adviser to join our team and play a key role in delivering a professional, high-quality resourcing service that helps identify and progress the best talent.

The role

As part of the Resourcing Team, you will support recruitment activity across the organisation by reviewing job applications, assessing candidate suitability, and providing clear, evidence-based recommendations to managers. You will work closely with Recruiting Managers and Resourcing Consultants to understand role requirements, apply agreed selection criteria, and ensure every hiring decision is well-informed, consistent and compliant.

Your role will focus on adding value through effective assessment and candidate insight. You will use your knowledge of recruitment best practice to guide managers through the selection process, ensuring a fair and positive experience for all applicants. Strong stakeholder engagement, attention to detail, and sound judgement will be key, as you maintain accurate records and meet agreed timescales.

This is a great opportunity for someone with in-house or agency recruitment experience who takes pride in providing excellent service and has a proven track record in application assessment.

What we are looking for
* Experience of working in an in-house resourcing role or with a recruitment managed service provider or recruitment agency
* Experience of recruiting in professional services, public sector or regulation
* Experience in screening job applications and conducting interviews to assess suitability
* Experience of working with recruitment applicant tracking systems (ATS)
* Evidence of the ability to plan ahead effectively, managing expectations, anticipating and solving problems and managing an efficient and effective recruitment process
* Able to work within a fast-paced team environment, manage competing demands and multiple campaigns with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Evidence of effective stakeholder management skills, skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels both internally and externally
