LEGAL ACCOUNTANT / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - RINGWOOD BASED OFFICE - LEGAL PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT - SALARY UP TO £40,0000

We are working with a Legal practice based in Ringwood, This is a fast growing legal firm, and due to growth are looking to employ an experienced Legal Cashier / Management Accountant to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of legal finance to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Working closely with fee earners, partners, and the wider accounts department, the successful individual will play a key role in ensuring the firm’s financial operations run smoothly and in full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR). Duties will include but not limited to:
* Processing client and office account transactions
* Daily bank reconciliation
* Handling incoming and outgoing payments, including CHAPS and BACS
* Ensuring compliance with SAR, VAT, and AML regulations
* Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders as required
* Managing and running employee payroll
* Credit control and fee collection

* Previous experience as a Legal Cashier, Management Accountant or Finance Manager
* Competent knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules, ideally having worked in a legal environment previously
* Confident with accounting software and Microsoft Office
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with a hands-on approach, completing tasks on your own volition
