This is a full‑time role (42.5 hours per week). As an Activities Coordinator at HC-One you will plan and implement engaging activities for residents, support the Home Manager with fundraising events, and foster social interaction within the care home team.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a range of activities that meet residents' interests and needs.
* Support the Home Manager in organising and running fundraising events.
* Encourage and facilitate social engagement among residents and the care team.
* Maintain accurate activity records and reports.
* Identify and record any safeguarding concerns, report and activate appropriate procedures.
Qualifications
* Experience working with vulnerable or older adults, ideally in activity development.
* Strong planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
* Proficiency with basic IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, care‑home recording systems).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, kind‑hearted approach.
* Commitment to safeguarding principles and procedures.
