We are working with a well established Cyber Security organisation based on the South Coast They work with multiple clients providing visibility and tools to effectively manage cyber threats.
The organisation are looking to employ 2-4 SOC Analysts and different levels - ideally 2 at Level 3 whilst the other 2 can be junior-mid level hires - the main reason for these hires is due to growth of both the organisation and the client base that they support.
This is a 24/7 environment, where Senior SOC Analysts are pivotal is the detection of threats, analysis and incident response, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems.
You will collaborate closely with cyber security peers as you enable clients to fortify their security and mitigate proactively, cyber attacks.
Requirements
Ideal applicants will have a proven track record in a SOC role, demonstrating proficiency in threat hunting and analysing SOC events. Prior SOC Analyst experience is essential.
Candidates with relevant Cyber security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Microsoft M365/Azure will be preferred.
Experience with working with Cyber Security principles, networking concepts and diverse operating systems.
Experience with common security threats, attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
For 2 vacancies, we ideally need Level 3 status.
Degree educated in Computer Science, Information Security or related field (and/or equivalent work experience)
Competitive Salary - £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
