Our client is looking for an experienced PR leader to own and execute dual-brand PR strategies that build trust, authority, and market leadership.
The successful candidate will lead a team of two while managing an external agency partner to maximize impact across traditional PR, digital PR, and SEO performance.
The role
* Manage a go-to media press office for health journalists, driving high-authority backlinks for SEO performance
* Build and maintain journalist database across health, lifestyle, consumer, and trade publications
* Balance brand-building PR with commercial digital PR to drive both reputation and SEO performance
* Secure coverage in health, lifestyle, and news media
* Develop and media-train healthcare spokespeople as national health experts
* Deliver expert commentary placements across national, trade, and consumer health media
* Develop educational content series
* Lead digital PR strategy to secure high-authority backlinks that improve organic search rankings
* Track and report on digital PR impact: backlinks acquired, referring domains, domain rating improvements, organic traffic uplift, keyword ranking improvements
* Develop holding statements and proactive customer communications for reputational risks
* Set clear monthly priorities, briefs, and KPIs aligned to business objectives (brand awareness, SEO performance, traffic)
* Partner with the social media team to amplify PR coverage across organic and paid
* Brief social and content teams on upcoming campaigns to maximize integrated impact
