The IFS Supply Chain Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing the IFS Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules to improve end-to-end supply chain efficiency. This role involves translating business requirements into IFS solutions, aligning system functionality with business processes such as procurement, inventory, planning, manufacturing supply, logistics, and warehouse operations. The consultant ensures that IFS supports operational excellence, cost control, and timely delivery performance.
Functional Design & Implementation
Analyze supply chain processes (procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, order-to-deliver) and map them to IFS functionality.
Configure IFS SCM modules including:
Procurement & Sourcing
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) & Production Planning
Demand Planning & Forecasting
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
Logistics & Distribution
Conduct fit/gap analysis and develop functional specifications.
Recommend improvements to supply chain workflows using IFS best practices.
Support strategic initiatives such as inventory optimization, lead time reduction, and cost efficiency.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor supply chain performance.
Testing & Data Management
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and issue resolution.
Assist with data migration, cleansing, and validation for master data (items, suppliers, BOMs, warehouses, etc.).
Training & Documentation
Deliver end-user training for procurement, warehouse, and planning teams.
Work closely with supply chain managers, planners, procurement teams, and finance.
Partner with IFS technical consultants and vendors when required.
Strong experience in IFS SCM modules (Procurement, Inventory, Planning, MRP, Logistics).
Deep understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
Knowledge of warehouse management, material planning, and demand forecasting.
Ability to work with data migration, integration, and reporting tools.
Understanding of IFS system architecture and module interdependencies.
Project-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or IT-related field.
~3–8+ years of experience in IFS SCM or ERP supply chain modules.
~ Experience with IFS Cloud or IFS Applications (8/9/10).
~ Hands-on experience with SCM process improvements and system implementations.
~ ERP project experience across multi-site or global organizations is advantageous.
~ IFS certification (preferred but not essential).
