Accounts Payable / Finance Clerk
Location: Ramsgate (office-based) Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Ramsgate to recruit an Accounts Payable / Finance Clerk to join their friendly and supportive Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience who is looking to broaden their skill set within a busy, hands‑on role. Full training will be provided on all internal systems, and study support is available for the right candidate.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role across Accounts Payable and wider finance operations, with exposure to management accounting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* End‑to‑end Accounts Payable processing, including supplier payments and reconciliations
* Bank and cash reconciliations and daily controls
* Processing monthly expenses, accruals and prepayments
* Supporting monthly departmental P&L and spend analysis against budget
* GRNI and intercompany reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month‑end reporting
* Assisting with Accounts Receivable and credit control when required
* Ad‑hoc financial analysis and reconciliation tasks
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in Accounts Payable or a transactional finance role
* Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
* Well organised, with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Keen to learn and develop within finance
* AAT qualified or studying (desirable), but not essential
