This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make your mark as a BoM Controller and Analyst within an elite automotive build programme.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused BoM Controller and Analyst to manage structured, multi-level Bills of Materials (BoMs) for exclusive, low-volume vehicle builds. This role involves coordinating between UK-based teams and our California HQ, ensuring data integrity throughout the build lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities as a BoM Controller and Analyst
* Create, structure, and maintain large-scale, multi-level BoMs (4,000 to 4,500 parts per vehicle).
* Manage multiple BoMs simultaneously with accuracy and consistency.
* Ensure each BoM reflects the specific, often bespoke, configuration of each vehicle.
* Collaborate on engineering change processes (ECRs/ECNs) and version control with global teams.
* Support physical build validation and resolve discrepancies between digital records and actual assemblies.
* Liaise with US-based technical teams to maintain configuration control and facilitate smooth handover to UK production.
Systems and Process Control
* Maintain BoMs within PLM/ERP systems, ensuring data integrity.
* Analyze product data to support scheduling, cost management, and supply chain visibility.
* Drive continuous improvement in BoM control processes, reporting tools, and workflows.
Our Ideal Candidate
We seek someone passionate about automotive excellence with experience in:
* BoM management, product data control, or configuration roles (preferably in automotive; complex manufacturing such as aerospace, marine, motorsport, or defence considered).
* Working in low-volume manufacturing environments.
* Understanding engineering drawings, build manuals, and change management workflows.
* Managing large, detailed BoMs concurrently.
* Proficiency in PLM and ERP systems, with strong Excel/data analysis skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills for working across cross-functional teams and time zones.
* Flexibility for working hours, including occasional early evening calls with US teams.
* Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Automotive, or Manufacturing disciplines.
* Bonus: Knowledge of classic Porsche 911 architecture or experience with luxury vehicle brands.
Working Hours
* Flexible arrangements: standard hours 7:30am-4:15pm or 8am-5pm, aligned with workshop operations.
* Role is site-based with flexibility around core hours for US liaison.
