We are currently partnering with an award winning Bristol based Charity, who are recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor to join the team during an exciting period of transformation a 12 month FTC with the potential for a permanent role. This is a full-time position with a salary band of c.£30,500 - £37,500 (subject to experience) with interviews ideally to be held before Christmas to prepare for a January start date. This is a full time, hybrid position with travel to the office required 2/3 days per week. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Ensuring smooth and accurate delivery of the monthly payroll to 1,100 employees and ensuring reconciliations are completed Ensuring all third party deductions made from employees are paid over accurately and on time to third parties Deputising for the Payroll Manager when necessary, including processing payroll through to balance, doing the BACS and paying the tax and NI to HMRC Producing reports to various sites, the finance team and other stakeholders Managing overpayments including communication with the manager and employee, tracking and recording repayments and communicating with all relevant parties Supporting the team and wider organisation through a period of change as they prepare for a new system implementation Providing leadership and line management for the Payroll Officer Experience and skills required: Two years experience in a payroll position Intermediate MS Excel stills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) Rewards and benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Company Sick Pay Pension Scheme Blue Light Card Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible) Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
