ER Specialist (extensive employee relations experience required)
Location: Luton, Hybrid
Salary: 40K
Our client, a global Managed Services and Specialist Staffing provider, is seeking an ER Partner to join their team. The role involves providing responsive, accurate HR advice and support to managers, employees, and flexible workers, in line with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
The Business
* Acts as an ambassador of the Group, aligning with company culture and values.
* Understands the company brands and offerings.
* Delivers first-class advisory services on employment and employee relations matters.
* Ensures positive customer experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Advice and Guidance:
* Advise managers on Employee Relations issues, ensuring understanding of legislation and company policies.
* Manage cases related to disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, TUPE, redundancy, etc.
* Develop relationships to promote good employee relations.
* Support on client calls and HR queries as needed.
* Keep policies and guidelines up to date.
* Coordinate with Payroll and HR Admin teams.
Case Management:
* Handle Employee Relations cases end-to-end, including drafting letters and documents.
* Manage ACAS conciliation cases and occupational health referrals.
Technology and HR Systems:
* Maintain accurate data on HR systems.
* Generate reports and ensure GDPR compliance.
Relationship Management:
* Build collaborative relationships with managers and HR colleagues.
Change Management:
* Support organizational change and advise managers on employment law implications.
Projects:
* Contribute to departmental objectives and review HR materials regularly.
Experience and Skills
* Background in HR Advisory with a focus on Employee Relations and Employment Law.
* Proven case management experience.
* Knowledge of employment legislation, GDPR, and HR systems.
* Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Experience in professional services or corporate environments.
* Understanding of TUPE and redundancy processes.
