SEND Support Assistant – BD22 Area
Location: BD22 (Keighley and surrounding areas)
Contract: Supply / Flexible hours (Term-time only)

The Education Network is currently recruiting for experienced and passionate SEND Support Assistants to work on a supply basis in a specialist SEN school based in the BD22 area.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who are looking for flexible, rewarding work in a supportive school environment.
About the Role Working as part of a dedicated team, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
Assist teachers with the delivery of personalised learning programmes and support plans.
Encourage independence, engagement and positive behaviour.
Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils in both academic and personal development.About You We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in school, residential or community settings).
Are patient, adaptable and passionate about inclusion.
Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Have good communication and teamwork skills.
(Desirable) Hold a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.Why Work with The Education Network?
