***Self-Employed Sports Therapist to work in and alongside a busy Clinic ***

Description:

A range of exciting opportunities has come up with a Sports Therapy and Wellness Clinic. The demand for the highest standard of Sports Therapist and related skilled therapist is essential.

Details:

TOTHS Clinic

* Carry out sports massage appointments.
* New and existing clients.
* Complete administrative tasks such as appointment notes.
* Set shift pattern/days (TBC dependant on mutual availability etc)
* Encouraged CPD courses and continuous support.

Hours: A set shift pattern of days/hours implemented within our clinic opening times.

Weekdays:

* Monday, Thursday and Friday - 8:30am-5pm
* Tuesday - 7:30am-5pm
* Wednesday - 8:30am-6pm

Saturday:

* 8:30am-5pm

Key Points:

* To provide appropriate and effective Sports Therapy and Sports Massage treatment to both adults and children with a range of complaints.
* To act as a highly efficient therapist of gross knowledge that positively represents the business.
* To promote a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of injury and illness through the works providing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Act independently to effectively assess and analyses a client's needs
* Maintain accurate treatment records, which meet professional standards and in line with the clinics document management strategy.
* Effectively manage time and diary to meet the demands of the case load.
* Establish an effective therapeutic relationship, which acknowledges professional boundaries and provides dignity, honesty and respect for the client.
* Maintain a positive working relationship with all professionals involved in the client's treatment and management.
* Undertake a mentally and physically demanding job, whilst taking care of your own health and safety.
* Contribute to the clinics continuous professional development and clinical supervision process, including attending occasional clinic meetings.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties required to ensure the needs of the business are met and the client's therapeutic needs.
* Undertake appropriate training as required.
* Working week based on set shifts.

Qualifications:

Essential Criteria:

* Graduate Diploma, Honors Degree or Ordinary Degree in Sports Therapy
* To have qualification in Dry Needling or Traditional Chinese Acupuncture course – Or willingness to train
* To have a minimum of two years clinical experience
* Evidence of positive experience and work development

Desirable:

* To have any experience in or understanding of the business environment

Salary:

A set hourly retainer.

Self-Employed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
