Overview
You will join the Business Operations team within our Manufacturing function of 4,500 people. The team provides essential business and governance support to help the function run smoothly and effectively. Key responsibilities include coordinating and producing technical information and schedules, developing process instructions, and supporting the delivery of new initiatives. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
Responsibilities
* Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain robust cost controls across the Manufacturing Function
* Support in the monitoring and interrogation of cost-based budgets
* Support in providing cost reporting data and information for onward communication
* Drive quality improvements in our cost control processes
* Delegate for the Cost Base Lead as required
Qualifications
* Background in Finance, Project Controls, or Cost Estimating
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data-informed decision-making
* Proficient IT skills
* Desirable: APM qualification
