We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Engineer to support air source heat pump (ASHP) and HVAC-related installations across commercial sites.
The successful candidate will work closely with an AC installation engineer and will be involved in:
* Air source heat pump installations
* HVAC-related plumbing installations
* Chlorination works
* Small plumbing repairs (e.g. valve and pump replacements)
* Sealed system testing
This is a role requiring commercial experience and a proactive, team-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine inspections of plumbing systems
* Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
* Complete repairs and maintenance on plumbing fixtures, pipework, and equipment
* Install new plumbing systems as required
* Collaborate with engineers and other technical professionals on complex works
* Respond effectively to plumbing emergencies
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
* Deliver a high standard of customer service on site
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience ideally within commercial environments
* Relevant plumbing qualifications and accreditations or FGAS certified
* Sound knowledge of mechanical systems and installations
* Exposure to air source heat pumps (desirable but not essential)
* Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
* IT literate, self-motivated, punctual, and team-oriented
* Physically fit and comfortable working in varied site conditions
Essential Requirements
* Valid UK driving licence
* CSCS Skills Card
* City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing
* NVQ Level 3 Plumbing
Desirable
* Gas qualifications (not essential) FGAS certified
