Job Title – QA Technician
Location – Erith, Kent
Salary – £27,000 per annum (£12.50 per hour)
Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours per week)

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the QA Technician
* Previous QA experience within a food manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards

Requirements for the QA Technician
* Experience managing and maintaining HACCP systems
* Knowledge of food safety and quality systems
* Experience with internal audits (hygiene, glass, GMP)
* Ability to handle quality control of raw materials and finished products
* Experience investigating customer complaints and conducting root cause analysis
* Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and suppliers

Desirable Requirements for the QA Technician
* Understanding of BRC Global Standards
* Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD)
* Knowledge of SALSA standards
* Experience with lab testing (microbiological, chemical, allergen)
