<div><p>Develop your payroll career within a well-established and growing professional services environment, where youll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service as part of a supportive team.</p><h3>In the Payroll Administrator role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Process and manage weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients, including HMRC submissions</li><li>Complete auto-enrolment assessments, calculate pension contributions and submit pension data</li><li>Process starters and leavers, including calculating statutory payments</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns</li><li>Liaise with HMRC, pension providers and clients regarding payroll queries and requirements</li><li>Carry out a range of payroll administration duties while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality</li></ul><h3>To be successful, you will need:</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a similar payroll position</li><li>A good understanding of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment requirements</li><li>The ability to complete manual payroll calculations accurately</li><li>Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail</li><li>Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to supporting clients</li><li>The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365, with experience using payroll software such as Sage or IRIS Staffology being advantageous</li><li>A CIPP qualification and/or knowledge of the NHS Pension Scheme would be desirable</li></ul><p>This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, working full time (typically 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). A job share arrangement may also be considered.
