We are seeking a Digital Post Production Assistant to join our Digital team in Nottingham. This role is responsible for retouching and uploading imagery for use on the Paul Smith website, as well as sorting and uploading images to and from the retouch agency. You will work in close collaboration with the Photography Managers and take direction from the Marketing and Graphic Design teams, in order to provide retouch services in accordance with set deadlines.
This is a maternity cover contract, ideally starting end of March/beginning of April 2026. This is a full-time role but we will consider someone wanting to work 4 days a week.
Please note, this role requires that you submit an online link to a portfolio or Design Project containing work examples, as part of your application. This should be available for 4 weeks after the advert closing date.
The Role
Send imagery to the retouch agency for editing and provide feedback and amendments, to ensure final images adhere to company standards.
Process product and model Ecommerce images using photoshop, to be ready for use on the Paul Smith website.
Ensure product uploads are completed daily and that images and folders are organised and named correctly.
Make sure creative retouch work is completed efficiently, in accordance with business requirements and departmental deadlines.
Oversee the housekeeping of photographs and videos for current use and archival purposes.
Assist with editing gifs and videos of models and products, for use on the website and social media.
Assist the Photographers and Photography Managers with ad hoc duties.
About You
Proven capability retouching professional creative images.
High level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Capture One Pro.
Experience working in an ecommerce environment, editing product and model images.
Understanding of video editing using Adobe Premier Pro.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
