Salary:
The starting salary is £65,393 which includes allowances totalling £2,841.
The salary is broken down as £62,552 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £66,997. Plus a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location / Hybrid Working:
This role will primarily be based at Bow, East London but there will be a need to attend offsite meetings as required by the business. We actively support blended working solutions.
Security Clearance:
Due to the secure nature of our work, successful candidates must pass all vetting and security requirements, including Counter Terrorism (CTC), before they you can be appointed.

You will propel the Met's digital transformation by:
* Developing an integrated, forward-looking application architecture aligned to our bold Technology 2020-25 strategy
* Overseeing solution design, governance, and assurance across our portfolio of business applications
* Shaping technology vision and standards that optimise integration across the enterprise architecture
* Translating operational needs into architectures that empower our officers through intuitive applications

Essential Skills:
* Experience as an Enterprise Architect (Applications) and of major business change programmes.
* A broad knowledge of business systems and the technology components they are built from.
* Experience in delivery of principles, standards and strategies within an Enterprise Architecture framework.
* Experience of working with outsource partners to shape and deliver applications to business users. Involvement in procurement competitions is expected. Will operate at Project Board level for projects.
* Experience of technology governance. Expected to both attend governance forums and guide programmes to compliance.
* A positive attitude to diversity and inclusion are essential to delivering the core mission of the Met.
* Must demonstrate collaborative working practices in teams that are diverse in backgrounds, culture and skills.
