Teaching Personnel is recruiting for an Inclusion Support Assistant to join a Tameside secondary school in September 2025, working with pupils who are at risk of exclusion or in transition between mainstream and alternative provision. Role Highlights: Work 1: 1 or in small groups with pupils displaying SEMH or behavioural needs Support reintegration plans for pupils returning from alternative provision Collaborate with the SENCO and Pastoral Teams to implement behaviour strategies Build trust- based relationships that promote attendance, engagement, and resilience Ideal Background: Experience in inclusion, pastoral care, youth work, or SEN settings Calm, patient and confident in dealing with challenging situations Strong interpersonal and de- escalation skills Knowledge of trauma- informed practice and restorative approaches is beneficial Benefits Include: Competitive daily rate: £ 89–£ 105 Long- term, full- time opportunity in a supportive school Regular CPD through Teaching Personnel Potential to progress into permanent roles All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
