Homes for Students is the leading independant provider of Student Accommodation. Are you detail-driven with a passion for delivering professional, polished design? We are seeking a Corporate Designer to play a key role in producing high-quality branding and business-critical documents that reflect our identity and standards. Your working hours will be 40 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining consistent, well-executed materials across presentations, brochures, reports, and internal communications. Working closely with departments across the business, you will ensure every output is accurate, brand-aligned, and delivered to deadline. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in professional design, with excellent layout skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision. This role requires a strong focus on brand consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to produce work that supports professional communication at the highest standard. Major Duties Manage the pipeline of personal design tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Produce design work with accuracy, and in line with brand standards. Work collaboratively across internal departments to deliver on briefs effectively. Keep up to date with current design trends and apply them appropriately. Manage multiple briefs simultaneously and provide clear progress updates. Prepare and deliver materials such as brochures, PowerPoint presentations, print collateral, and digital assets. Maintain consistency of collateral and materials across all brands. Occasionally liaise with suppliers regarding artwork, production, scheduling, and distribution. Assist with the organisation of design software files and templates. Carry out other duties as assigned by the Corporate Design Manager. Skills Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva. Skilled in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations and professional layouts. Video and editing skills. Strong written English skills. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage time effectively, working to tight deadlines. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Personal Qualities Self-motivated, with confidence to take initiative. Strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering high-quality work. Essential A portfolio showcasing previous design work. Proven commercial design experience (minimum two years). Strong attention to detail. Desirable A degree in graphic design or a related subject. Experience within the student sector. For Homes for Students to work effectively, you may be required to assist with other areas of work and therefore, you should be prepared to undertake other duties appropriate to the post, as delegated by your line manager.
