Role: Fixed Electrical Test Engineer
Location: Flexible across the South of England. Home based with daily travel to client sites and we aim to minimise travel where possible and offer localised geographical areas.
Salary: Starting salary of £41,714 plus company car/ £4,250 car allowance and excellent benefits package
Role purpose:
To operate independently and as a team member in carrying out high quality test and inspection examination of designated Electrical installations, operating with clear customer focus and driving optimal service delivery.
Experience & Skills Required:
• Relevant Electrical knowledge
• Previous experience in a similar role / time served apprentice holding their 18th edition
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues, both written and verbal.
• Computer literate
• Good knowledge of market, industry trends, developments and changes in legislation. Knowledge of H&S requirements
Qualifications Required:
1. 18th Edition regulations
2. City & Guilds Part 1, 2and 3 OR Level 3 City and Guilds 2365 Diploma electrical installation. (HNC desirable).
3. Preferable City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 courses (or equivalent)
4. Hold a current. driving license.
5. GCSE’s in Maths and English (or equivalent)
