My client is an incredibly successful and fast growing consumer goods business in London. Market leaders in their field, they have strong growth plans so it’s a really exciting time to join with ample opportunity to make a real impact in the business. You'll work closely with the FC to lead the month end reporting and financial control process.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the month-end close process to deliver accurate and timely management accounts.
* Prepare UK financial reports including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow with supporting analysis.
* Maintain balance sheet accuracy through reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and intercompany reviews.
* Monitor cash flow, manage AP/AR processes and maintain strong financial controls.
* Collaborate with offshore finance teams while driving process improvements and automation.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial insight and support business initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Experience leading month-end processes
* Strong technical accounting background with proven balance sheet ownership.
* Ideally experience working in consumer-focused businesses (retail, hospitality, FMCG etc.) but not essential
* Strong Excel skills
