ROLE PURPOSE
Working within the Education & Training team, this varied and outward-facing role supports the Head of Education & Partnerships and Department Managers in delivering strategic objectives across membership services and professional registers.

A key driver of the role is to develop new and existing business plans by contributing high-level technical knowledge and stakeholder management expertise across the key areas served by the Company, including membership services, training, agronomy, nutrient management, environment, amenity, and pest management.

The role acts as a critical link between stakeholders, advisory groups, training providers, professional registers, committees and members, ensuring effective two-way communication and continuous improvement in professional standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Contribute to strategic planning and achievement of business plans and budgets for NRoSO and other membership services
Drive stakeholder engagement, knowledge transfer and professional development
Develop departmental understanding of stakeholder needs and emerging industry trends
Identify and develop new business opportunities and stakeholder groups
Represent the Company on relevant committees, advisory boards and at industry events
Support the operational delivery and continuous improvement of membership services
Contribute to business growth projections and recruitment/retention strategies

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. NRoSO Management
Lead and manage relationships with the NRoSO Advisory Board and related stakeholder groups
Develop, create and deliver the NRoSO Annual Training Event, producing a 3-hour in-depth training course with new content each year
Liaise with major distributor agronomy companies, rural training providers and individual trainers
Maintain regular contact with government and regulatory bodies (e.g., CRD, HSE)
Maintain strong engagement with the Voluntary Initiative and key industry contacts
Drive NRoSO member recruitment and retention campaigns
Attend and represent the Company at agreed trade shows and industry events nationwide
Ensure high levels of stakeholder and member satisfaction, measured through feedback and engagement metrics

2. Professional Register & Technical Support
Provide technical expertise and agronomic advice to the Education & Training Team
Support review and maintenance of syllabi and examination content
Prepare and maintain exam scripts
Examine candidates and act as Examination Chair (in person and online)
Support development of new Professional Registers and business opportunities
Assist with interpretation and communication of government policy and regulations
Write and review technical content for training materials

3. Membership & Operational Support
Support the Membership & Audit Manager with operational delivery of membership services
Respond to member queries and complaints as required
Contribute to member communications (letters, newsletters, e-bulletins, brochures, social media)
Actively participate in departmental meetings and report on progress against targets
Develop podcasts, webinars and other engagement tools
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement across operational areas

4. PROMPT & Stakeholder Programme Support
Provide technical support to the PROMPT Education & Training and Membership Teams
Host and manage PROMPT board meetings
Support CPD maintenance processes
Act as contact for corporate businesses with in-house training
Support technical events and key trade shows

5. Environmental & Project Work
Contribute to environmental knowledge exchange initiatives (e.g., nitrate mitigation workshops)
Support development and delivery of stakeholder education programmes
Deliver training and workshops to farmers, land managers and stakeholders

Stakeholder engagement and Net Promoter Score
Membership recruitment and retention rates
Delivery of growth projections and business targets
Event attendee and stakeholder feedback
Podcast and webinar engagement
Continuous improvement savings
Effective support and secretariat of committees and advisory boards
