About The Role
As a Business Centres Premises Technician, you will be an essential part of the team, working on a variety of tasks. You will operate across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship is delivered efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in mandatory compliance checks.
* Complete basic minor repairs and painting.
* Operate independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites.
* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
* Complete work to a high standard, adhering to all safety guidelines.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
What will you be doing?
* Complete a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks within the Business Centres, such as health and safety compliance checks, minor repairs, moving furniture, and decorating to a high standard and in line with Council standards and specifications, whilst delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Record and report issues to the Facilities Manager.
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and adhered to at all times.
* Use initiative to complete tasks where appropriate.
About You
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Business Centres Premises Technician with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. You will have:
* Proven experience in facilities management.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A polite and approachable manner.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
* A valid UK driving license.
* A 'can-do’ attitude and self-motivation.
* Qualified to GCSE level.
* Experience working in a commercial maintenance and repairs environment would be very advantageous.
