About the Role: Apricus Resourcing are seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join a chemist based in Lancaster on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service to patients. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately dispense medications and manage pharmacy inventory. * Provide guidance on the proper use of medications to patients and healthcare professionals. * Maintain high standards of pharmacy practice in compliance with regulations. * Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff. * Manage patient records and pharmacy documentation effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser in a retail or hospital environment. * Comprehensive knowledge of various medications and their uses. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Relevant pharmacy qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Pharmacy Services or equivalent). The role will be working Monday – Friday 9-5 with a pay rate on offer of £16.18 Ltd per hour and may result in further contract extension in the future.
