Business Process Analyst - 12 Month FTC Location: Bristol - hybrid Job Type: Full-time Salary: Upto £55,000 We are seeking a Business Process Analyst who is passionate about understanding and driving excellence across people, processes, and technology. This role involves using best practices, tools, and standards to enhance the quality and consistency of deliverables across various projects and initiatives. Day-to-day of the role: Work closely with the business to map end-to-end processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, including the elimination of non-value-added activities, automation of data flows, and system integration. Facilitate discovery and improvement workshops, gather both functional and non-functional business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure full traceability of requirements from sign-off through to solution design and development. Build business cases to detail efficiency benefits realisation through return on investment and payback period calculations. Design and support user testing and acceptance criteria, and facilitate the adoption of implemented solutions. Maintain effective communication with all project, business, and IT stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively seeking solutions to keep projects on track and escalating to senior leadership as needed. Share best practices and strive to deliver a world-class student and employee experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience in business process design and facilitation. Proficiency in business process modelling and familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies. Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, interpret, and analyse data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Curiosity and tenacity to explore beyond the immediate circumstances to identify further improvements. Basic understanding of data protection legislation and experience in maintaining a secure and confidential environment. Desirable: Experience with HR Systems, familiarity with SaaS-based platforms, certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP), familiarity with PBSA, and project management skills.
