The Trainee Fire Stopper role includes:
* Completing fire stopping installations and installing fire stops on fire doors
* Handling small to large penetrations
* Proper use of materials, tools, and resources
* Working in various environments including flats, housing, care homes, and commercial premises, sometimes in confined spaces
* Ensuring health and safety regulations and standards are met
* Delivering work that satisfies customers, the company, and accreditation bodies
* Working towards IFC accreditation in fire stopping and NVQ
What we look for in a Trainee Fire Stopper:
* No formal qualifications required; on-the-job training will be provided
* Confidence in using hand and battery-powered tools
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* Ability to act safely in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
